Eyebrows

The eyes are the most expressive part of the face and this is in large part due to the eyebrows. Therefore, the upper eyelid and the eyebrows should be considered together as one complex.

Since the advent of type A Botulinum toxin (Botox®), which introduced a simpler way of altering the form and position of the eyebrow, the need to submit patients to eyebrow-lifting surgery has been reduced. However, many patients can benefit from surgical Lifting. There are several approaches: coronal, endoscopic, temporal, transpalpebral and from direct incision, each with advantages and disadvantages to be considered for each type of patient.

Generally this is performed in conjunction with a blepharoplasty and can be carried out together with practically any other aesthetic surgery procedure (rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, mammoplasty, etc.)
